It happened around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, in Central Islip.

A 38-year-old Medford man was operating a 2015 Honda motorcycle westbound on Suffolk Avenue when the vehicle collided with a 2019 Honda CRV that was turning from Suffolk Avenue to northbound Sycamore Lane.

The motorcycle then collided with a 2020 Lexus that was stopped in the southbound lane of Sycamore Lane.

The motorcyclist was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious physical injuries. Neither the driver of the Honda CRV.

Neither the driver of the CRV -- a 65-year-old Central Islip woman -- or the operator of the Lexus, a 23-year-old Central Islip man -- were injured.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact Third Squad detectives at 631-854-8352.
